WRU International Rugby Development Programme
Feb 17, 2020Waikato Rugby Union offers international rugby players the opportunity to travel to New Zealand and develop their rugby skills, learning from leading high performance staff.
Players are physically tested, programmed and monitored by the Waikato Rugby Union high performance staff, with the Waikato Rugby Six Pillars of Player Development (Technical, Leadership, Tactical, Physical, Mental and Nutrition) being at the forefront of the programme.
On top of this, players get the unique opportunity to experience the magic of New Zealand through a weekly Kiwi Experience trip, where they will get up close with the best that New Zealand has to offer.
